On 28 May, in Dublin, as part of the Craol Feile (Community Radio Forum of Ireland training meeting), Near FM presented the UMAC toolbox and its experience as a participant in an European project to community radio staff and volunteers from other community radios in Ireland, as well as community radio activists from France, Italy, Spain, Austria and Slovenia.
The presentation of the toolbox took place as part of the Media Literacy workshop, which was attended by twenty participants, who were introduce to the mechanics of the toolbox and the benefits of using it as a way to improve or complement their training with media literacy infused activities.
The feedback forms completed by the participants showed the participants satisfaction with the content and resources offered by the toolbox.
Furthermore, the UMAC project was presented in the context of other European projects with Irish participation, and after a presentation by the Irish national agency Leargas on the Erasmus + programme.
